The Summer Camp is held on weekdays rain or shine. Should a stormy day be forecasted the camp will be canceled and parents notified by email no later than 7:30 AM.
Custom pick your weeks. One week minimum.
Cancelation/refund policy: Refunds are not given unless for a medical reason and only upon receipt of a doctor's note at least 1 week prior to the camp's start. Once camp has begun, no refunds are given unless there is a case of a medical emergency with the submission of a doctor's note. Extenuating circumstances, which are not medical in nature, will be reviewed on a case by case basis and are subject to the discretion of the camp director. A 10% processing fee will be charged on all refunds regardless of reason. Your request will be processed in 7-10 business days and credit card fees will not be refunded.

Griffin Michalek
Camp Director
Griffin will return with the experienced Glenbrooke Staff as the Camp Director of the Summer Camp Program. Griffin will oversee the operations of the Summer Day Camp Program. Griffin, an East Hartford Native, has a vast experience he brings to Glenbrooke. Griffin earned his Bachelors in History from UConn and Masters in Education from ECSU. He has previously served as the Director of Summer Camps for the Town of East Hartford, overseeing 6 camps, 50 camp counselors, 6 Camp Supervisors, and 400 campers. During the year, he is a Middle School Social Studies Teacher in East Hartford. We are excited to continue to have Griffin's experience at Glenbrooke!
Daniel Crovo

Dan is our SUPERHERO. Dan will be overseeing all the day-to-day operations across the facility including the Summer Camp . Dan’s grandparents were original 1963 Members of Glenbrooke making Dan a third-generation Glenbrooker. Dan has his Bachelors in Special Education from UConn and his Masters in Special Education from UConn. During the year, he is a Special Education Teacher and the Head Varsity Boys and Girls Swimming and Diving Coach at East Hartford High School. Prior to joining Glenbrooke in 2021, Dan worked at the Town of East Hartford, including starting as a Lifeguard, Swim Lesson Instructor, Camp Counselor, Camp Supervisor, and Interim Special Olympics Coordinator.

The campers that were able to attend our camp program compliments of their generosity were treated to a wonderful summer of fun in the sun while making lots of new friends! Best of all there were no cell phones or electronic games to distract the campers & interrupt all the fun!

Join the Swim Team! (Strictly optional for campers)
All Summer Campers are invited to join the Glenbrooke Gators swim team for ages 6-18. Joining the swim team is strictly optional for Day Camp participants. There is no extra charge for campers to be on the swim team.
Swim team practices take place during the morning Camp and swim meets are either on Wednesday afternoons or Saturday mornings through the end of July.
Anyone wishing to join the swim team MUST be enrolled the first six weeks of the Summer Camp . Practices for 6-10 year olds will take place during the AM session from 9:30-10:30, and 11-13 year olds from 8:00-9:30 AM.

FULL DAY: $325.00 per week (includes youth membership)
Early Drop-Off: $35.00 per week (8-9 am)
Late Pick-Up: $35.00 per week (4-5 pm)
Both Early & Late: $70.00 per week (8-9 am + 4-5 pm)
